Age-Management

Ageing is a normal part of life and here at Luminosity Skin and skinMD, we think a privilege. Instead of referring to treating this process as anti-ageing, we prefer to coin it age-management because truly, it’s an unavoidable part of growing older.

As we age the natural levels of collagen and elastin (the proteins that make our skin smooth supple and taught) decrease and so forms lines, wrinkles and portions of skin that sag.

Here at Luminosity Skin and skinMD, we offer a multitude of therapeutic treatments that target signs of ageing and seek to soften them. More often than not we’ll treat each patient with a holistic approach which will often include different cosmetic enhancement modalities, cosmeceutical skincare (with lots of sunscreen), skin treatments and facials such as laser, skin needling and etc. We’re big believers in pairing cosmetic treatments with skin health treatments, as well as lifestyle enhancements to obtain the healthiest, most optimal functioning skin as possible.

Whilst there is no right age to start your age-management journey we’re big believers in prevention being better than a cure so there is no time like the present to start caring for and protecting your skin!
