Wrinkle-Management
Wrinkle management involves using small needles to introduce neuromodulators to muscles. These methods aim to promote a more youthful appearance by relaxing the muscle treated and softening it. A consultation is required with a GP to assess suitability.
What you need to know:
- Results can take 7-14 days to show full effect.
- Effects vary by treatment type, typically lasting 3-4 months.
- Mild swelling, redness, bruising and headaches is common but usually subsides within a few days.
- The treated area may feel tender or sensitive. Avoid touching or massaging the area for at least 12 hours
- Most people can return to normal activities immediately, but some may prefer to take it easy for the first day.
- Adhere to any post-treatment instructions given by your provider, such as avoiding strenuous exercise or extreme temperatures for a short period.
- For sustained results, ongoing treatment is advised.
